The Netflix North American Digital Marketing organization is a high performance team responsible for the activation of digital channels in support of Netflix marketing initiatives. Reporting into the Manager of North American Digital Marketing, the Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of a number of our online marketing efforts across the US and Canada. A vital member of this function, he/she will be a passionate marketer who can leverage their expertise of digital channels to maximize the performance of both demand generation and demand collection efforts.
The Role:
- Serve as the day-to-day lead on our “always on” acquisition campaign; analyze and drive performance across direct/reserve partners, ad networks and affiliates
- Create thoughtful recommendations – backed by data – of new placements and partners to add to our display acquisition efforts
- Serve as the tactical lead for the planning, buying and measurement of our digital marketing campaigns on premium partners (Yahoo!, Google/YouTube, Microsoft, etc.)
- In concert with Netflix in-house trading desk team, take a “big picture” look at Netflix' overall display buying and seek to maximize our total digital marketing ROI
- Partner closely with Creative, Consumer Insights and Product Teams to develop campaigns that are optimally poised for success
- Create and execute rigorous test campaigns to understand the drivers of display advertising impact
- Evaluate emerging opportunities and their relevance to our business and objectives (mobile, tablet, new video formats, publishers, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in digital planning, buying and measurement
- Substantial experience working with ad networks such as the Google Display Network
- Exposure to brand campaign strategies, planning and execution
- Deep familiarity with digital media planning tools, such as comScore
- Experience with mobile marketing tactics

Desirable Skills
- Balance of branding and acquisition experience
- Understanding of programmatic marketing channels (RTB, paid social, SEM)
- Robust understanding of underlying advertising technology
- Strong negotiation skills
